Careers
Build a Career. Not Just Another Plumbing Job.
At Route 66 Plumbing, we’re building the kind of company good plumbers want to work for. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems, treat customers right, and want to keep getting better.
Why Work at Route 66 Plumbing?
You’re More Than a Number
We’re a locally owned Amarillo company. Decisions are made here, leadership is involved in the business, and good work gets noticed.
We Want Good Plumbers to Make Good Money
We want technicians who perform well to be rewarded for it. Our goal is to create enough opportunity, support, and incentives for good plumbers to build a strong career here.
No High-Pressure Sales Culture
We expect technicians to communicate well, diagnose the entire problem, present good options, and educate homeowners. We don’t want customers pressured into something they don’t need.
We Invest in the Right People
We’re not trying to fill trucks with warm bodies. We want people who care about their craft, want to improve, and can become an important part of the company as we grow.
Opportunity to Grow With Us
Route 66 is still growing. That means the people who help us build the company have an opportunity to grow with it – whether that means becoming a stronger service technician, earning more, or eventually moving into leadership.
Do Work You Can Be Proud Of
We want Route 66 to be known for quality work, honest recommendations, clean jobs, and taking care of customers. We expect our plumbers to take pride in putting their name behind the work.
